Hosaena (Palm Sunday)

Well as to the celebration of the Palm Sunday it is very important to note that it is celebrated in every Orthodox Tewahido Church however, Axum is a special place to attend. As we know Axum is the birth place of Christianity in the Ethiopian history and the most important treasure in the history of mankind, The Ark of the Covenant is believed to be kept in there till today .And that could be reason why Axum tries to keep the very old tradition of partly the Judaism customs in most of religious practices. This Holly day is taken place just before the Ethiopian Easter Holliday after the big fasting season of 55 days.
